To ensure that Oxfam in Pakistan has quality financial management with the financial capacity to support programmes. To proactively provide business-focused and result-oriented quality professional and technical finance services to the Pakistan country program. Contributes towards developing Financial Management capabilities in Oxfam partner organizations in Pakistan.
The position will assist in processing of cash and bank payments as per procedures. Assist for timely monthly closing. Ensure all invoices and expenses are authorised and coded correctly, including staff expenses. To provide assistance in preparation of Partner Financial Reports. To support Finance Officer in proposal budgeting. Coordinate with team to ensure all expenses related to core expenses are booked in relevant Donor reports. Review settlement of travel and training advances against Oxfam travel policy and prepare journal entry. And to maintain filing systems for all financial and accounting records and verify the completeness of the documentation as per the Oxfam financial policy and government regulations.
