Background & Description

Specific responsibilities:

  • Act as focal person for projects related activities and correspondence.
  • Ensure timely delivery/completion of all project activities, submission of relevant reports
  • Coordinate and communicate with the key stakeholders including government, donors, communities and civil society actors.
  • Ensure monitoring and review of progress of projects activities, Value for Money generated, quality assurance of project/program outputs, and contractual compliances.
  • Assist, mentor and ensure capacity building of project staff for achieving project results
  • Do risk management, provide proactive backstopping and trouble-shooting support for any issues arising before, during and after project implementation.
  • Represent organization at public forms as and when required.
  • Supervise administrative matters of the organization and projects.  
  • Lead designing and launching advocacy campaigns for  policy level changes
  • Uphold organization’s values, vision, mission and goals.
Requirements and Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, planning and implementation. • Past experience of working at Election related project will be preferable. • Knowledge of geographical area/district and cultural values will be preferable. • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is mandatory. • Strong analytical and team building skills.

Education

University degree in related discipline.

  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, planning and implementation.
  • Past experience of working at Election related project will be preferable.
  • Knowledge of geographical area/district and cultural values will be preferable.
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, and   PowerPoint) is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and team building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required, with fluency in verbal and written English and Urdu, along with the understanding of local language.
  • Having good advocacy skills and working relationships with state institutions will be an added advantage.
