Background & Description

College of Youth Activism and Development - CYAAD immediately required application from motivated and experienced youth local of District Kohat KP, for a short but exciting project as Youth Development Officer (Male & Female). 

Requirements and Skills
  • To implement, coordinate and facilitate all project activities at local level, including working with local Youth organization as outlined under the program.
  • To ensure project activity plan implementation as per the provided operational plan.
  • To ensure that district team work as a cohesive unit and performs as per the outlined operational plan.
  • To monitor and facilitate the Youth as selected for project activities.
  • Ensure the smooth and optimum function of the Project, using personal initiative to push the project into the future and optimize activities.
  • Prepare and review budgets of the project on monthly and quarterly basis in consultation with regional Finance Officer. 
  • To support Programme as well as other project team in achieving all the deliverables a outlined in project schedule/operational plan and from time to time may act as defined by the project/CYAAD team which may be in addition to the duties outlined above.

Founded in Feb 2008, CYAAD get registered with the Government of Pakistan under the society act 1860 in September, 2009. Introduction: The college of youth activism and development is a Pakistan Based non-profit, non-government organization. It works with young people , particularly in the tribal region, as pioneer organization in the areas of peacebuilding, gender-equality, citizenship and youth engagement.

CYAAD foster youth leadership and engagement for promotion of empathy and co-existence. it also aim to professionalize the skills of young men and women in order to include them in decision making processes and civic participation, which will generate new influences for policy changes. CYAADs provide youth in the Pakistan’s toughest places with the tools and support they need to transform their own lives. Over six years of working in the provinces of Baluchistan, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, CYAAD brings significant capacity and expertise in the areas of youth advocacy and engagement for gender equality, peace, development and human rights. We provide youth the information, tools and opportunities they need to become effective leaders, engaged locally/globally.
