Fellowship Overview
The Asia Foundation has launched its Fuller Fellowship in Peacebuilding to emphasize network building between fellows and the global peacebuilding community to support and elevate their work and professional development.
Fuller Fellows are early or midcareer professionals with demonstrated potential for leadership in the peacebuilding field and who are actively working to promote peace through research, advocacy, policymaking, community practice, or other fields.
The William P. Fuller Fellowship in Peacebuilding is dedicated to the professional development of the next generation of leaders committed to conflict resolution and peacebuilding in Asia and the Pacific.
Eligibility Criteria
40 years old or younger during the program year (born after October 13, 1985)
Must be a citizen of one of the following countries or regions: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pacific Islands, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam
Passionate about contributing to peacebuilding in the Asia-Pacific region through research or practice
Fluent in written and spoken English
Eager to build a professional network by collaborating with others in the field
Demonstrated leadership capacity and at least three years of professional experience
Must have the drive to complete self-directed coursework and professional project plan
Must be able to commit to the program dates October 13–24, 2025
Must be able to secure a visa for travel to the United States
