    Background of Project & Assignment:

    WWF-Pakistan, with the financial support of FCDO, is implementing a project titled “Scaling up nature-based solutions for improving integrated water resources management and enhanced water security in Pakistan”. The project aims to pilot
    Nature-based Solutions (NBS) at selected locations in Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in partnership with relevant stakeholders. Water management for improving the health of natural ecosystems, better water resource management, and livelihood improvement will be outcomes of the project interventions.

    Objective of the Consultancy:

    The primary objective of this consultancy is to document WRAP interventions through high-quality photographs &videos that effectively capture project outcomes, community participation, and landscape transformations. The visuals will be used for communication, reporting, and outreach purposes.

    Deliverables

    • Capture high-resolution photographs and videos of interventions, including but not limited to slope stabilization structures, plantation sites, restored flow pathways, and community-based facilities.
    • Take photographs/shots from multiple angles to ensure diversity in visuals.
    • Conduct drone photography and aerial shots to capture aerial perspectives of intervention sites.
    • The photographer should share 30 edited pics from each site office and share the raw materials in a separate folder.
    • Capture high-resolution photographs (minimum 24MP) illustrating.
    • Edit and retouch selected images (color correction, exposure balance, cropping, etc.).
    • Deliver a mix of landscape and portrait compositions suitable for print, digital, and social media use.
    • Include metadata and captions for each photo (location, date, subject description, consent status).
    • Ensure photographs reflect both technical and social aspects of the interventions (community engagement, field activities, and environmental settings).
    • Shoot and edit a 2-3 minute short video/documentary showcasing at least one impactful intervention per district and share both edited and raw footage for social media use.
    • Delivery of all files through Google Drive or external hard drive within the agreed timeline.
Requirements
  • Qualification

    • Minimum bachelor’s degree in film production, media studies, Photography, Fine Arts, or a related field.

    Eligibility

    • Must possess own professional photography/filmmaking and drone equipment.
    • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
    • Willingness to coordinate with WWF-Pakistan’s field teams during visits. c. Experience
    • At least 3–5 years of professional experience in field photography and documentation, preferably related to development, environment, or conservation projects.
    • Proficiency in using professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras and editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop etc.).
    • Familiarity with rural and field-based settings and the ability to travel to multiple districts in KP
