Background & Description

Job Purpose

To play a key role in the implementation of fundraising/Marketing strategies and activities in order to

i.     Promote and organisation Vision and Mission 

ii.   Secure funds for program replication, extension and up gradation and organisational core costs  adherence to the policies of the organization.

Requirements and Skills

5- 6 years of experience with reputable Non-profit organisation in fundraising or Marketing, with proven record of successful applications for substantial funding from individual, corporate, Trusts and other grant-making bodies.

Behavioral Competencies: Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well under pressure.
Ability to understand and maintain budgets.
Ability to plan ahead and work within agreed timeframes
Ability and willingness to travel for work
Demonstrable ability to plan and priorities own workload with minimum supervision
Relationship Management and marketing Skills
Interpersonal Skills
Team management skills

  1. Master Degree  in the field Marketing and related to Fundraising
  2. Thorough knowledge of  Marketing Fundraising  practices and procedures with awareness of philanthropic and corporate trends
  3. Computer proficiency and report writing
  4. Portfolio management, grant application and proposal writing skills
  5. Demonstrable ability to develop relationships with philanthropist, corporate clients and other partners.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills required to build relationships with potential stakeholders/partners.
  7. Good event management experience especially related to fundraising.
