Background & Description

JoB Purpose

The person should have passion to work on Gender Justice components. This is a multi-task opportunity with the GJ programme which requires good understanding of coordination and administrative skills. The main function of the job is providing overall administration and logistics support to the Creating Spaces project team. The person will also coordinate with the partners related to the project implementation. The project and support teams will enhance her/his capacity on basic project and partnership management. While working with the team, the intern will understand the issues related to gender disparity at the district, provincial, national and global levels.


He/she should have passion to work for gender issues. This is a multi-tasking opportunity with the Creating Spaces to Take Action to End Violence against Women and Girls team which requires good understanding of coordination and administrative skills. He/she must possess good communication and writing skills. Candidates with good financial skills will be preferred.

Requirements and Skills


  • Masters or Bachelor degree in Development Science / Social Sciences or any other relevant subject. Background in gender a plus.
  • Fresh Graduate.


  • Fluent in Urdu and English.
  • Multicultural, gender and sectarian sensitivity
  • Good Interpersonal skills – able to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of computerised systems; good understanding of computer literacy and word processing and excel.
  • Passion to work on Gender Justice in Pakistan
  • Commitment to Oxfam gender policies and code of conduct
