The project ‘Promoting employment through the empowerment of women in Pakistan’ (WE) is a new bilateral project with the aim to create decent income and employment opportunities for women in Pakistan's textile and fashion industry. In order to address the structural disadvantage of women in Pakistan and to achieve equality in employment and working conditions, the project will anchor sustainability standards more firmly in the textile and fashion industry.
Introduction to GIZ-Pakistan and WE project focusing on improvement of working conditions in factories and strengthening stakeholder linkages on the topic of diversity and inclusion in the textile industry
Understand carrying out research work and learn how to prepare short briefs on various topics related to the project intervention areas
Learn the organization of project activities like seminars, workshops, field visits, etc.
Learn about stakeholder engagement and maintenance of database for large number of partner factories
Learn the development of communication materials, including project presentations, factsheets, social media posts, and short articles covering output milestones or activities
Become acquainted with the overall knowledge management of WE
Finalizing internship report and its submission
Requirements
The interested candidate should have completed or in the process of completing bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field
Either no comparable experience in the related field or not more than 11 months of internship / job experience after graduation
Excellent working knowledge of ICT and computer applications (e.g. MS Office, MS Teams, etc.)
