Background & Description

Human Appeal is a faith-based International Charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.

We are currently seeking an International HR Consultant to join Human Appeal’s integral People and Culture (HR) department on an ad-hoc consultancy basis.

 

Requirements and Skills

Human Appeal has 7 International Field Offices across Africa, Asia and the Middle East (Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, Palestine, Somalia, Turkey, Yemen).

The successful candidate will provide HR advice to build the capacity of our UK-based International HR team, as well as providing guidance on all HR matters at Field Office level, with the opportunity to get involved in larger scale global HR projects. The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge and experience in the areas of:

  • Reward – competitive pay scales and benefits
  • Employee relations and labour law compliance
  • L&D
  • Operational HR, HR policy, HR process mapping
  • Job profiling & Job evaluation
  • Talent acquisition
  • Performance management

 

Offering an hourly rate of 1000-3000 PKR rupees, we are looking for someone with knowledge and experience of working in HR in a global capacity, ideally in the Middle East, Africa or Asia. You should be available immediately for work and happy to work on an ad-hoc project-based basis, work remotely with Head Office in Greater Manchester (UK) to report on your work.
