The position will be responsible for:Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability,learning, reporting, base line studies, Pre-Post KAPs, assessments, data collection, spot checks, field visits, desk reviewand documentation of success stories, best practices in prose form as well as video,etc.
Purpose of the Post:
The purpose of this position isMonitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) of project activities implemented by Shirakat/MenEngage Alliance Pakistan.
Main Responsibilities
Institutionalising the MEAL system in Shirakat/MEA-P
Maintain and store all the records, electronically as well as in paper form – filing documentation.
Conform with all accountability and compliance systems, identify gaps in the current system and suggest improvements
Reporting – all required reporting to the donors, for internal management systems
Documentation of all actions
Ensuring accountability in every official actions according to MenEngage standards and Shirakat standards
Monitoring ((desk and filed visits; developing M&E plan; reporting on required basis
Demonstrate duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.
Major Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Evaluation
· Conduct MEAL actions in implementation of project/program
· Design, conduct and manage baseline assessments, data collection methods and schedules, special studies and surveys in accordance with objectives and expected results for management and lessons learnt.
· Responsible for managing the Project Progress Matrices/ tracking sheets (PPMs) and other data gathering tools based on key performance indicators of projects/programs and make sure thatthe partner/sprovide data on timely basis.
· Carry out regular field visits to project areas, prepare and disseminate monitoring visit reports to concerned stakeholders for effective and timely decision making.
· Organise formative and summative evaluation, assessments, baselines, periodic studiesthat can support in identification and prioritization of problems, as well as project design.
· To keep close track of all project programmatic progress; identify and trouble shoot the gaps
· Regular updation of MEAL trackers/database for sharing with the ED &&PC on monthly basis.
Reporting
· Maintain effective and efficient flow of timely and quality reports submission according to the standard temples.
· To review field reports to ensure and improve the quality and accuracy of the data reported.
· To ensure that reports reflect organization strategies, policies, programming framework and project management tools.
Accountability and Learning
· Develop and maintain “learning sharing mechanism” for further improvements in program/ project designs and strategy.
· Document lessons learnt in electronic and hard form including video
· Organise learning events/meetings with partners
Any other task assigned by the ED and PC
Skills and Abilities
· Excellent writing skills – English and Urdu
· Analytical skills
· Computer (especially MS Office) proficiency
· Ability to contribute in developing systems, procedures and departmental strategies.
· Good interpersonal skills with proven ability to convey complex ideas to a novice audience.
· Good communications skills in Urdu, English and preferably Sindhi (verbal & written)
· Highly developed time management skills, including prioritization and meeting deadlines
