Background & Description

Project Coordinator will lead MTBA activities in Sindh and provide technical support and handholding to the partner Baanhbeli, will coordinate and liaise with relevant country teams in Oxfam, implementation partners and other key stakeholders. He/She will be responsible for preparation and supervision of work plan of partner in Sindh, budget and resource allocations, monitoring and review of the project related work, managing partnering relationships in the light of Oxfam's partnership approach following procedural requirements and will be responsible for the timely preparation of project related documents with quality control of all project requirements.

Requirements and Skills

Excellent understanding of Gender Justice, Child Early and Forced Marriages, Women rights issues and patriarchy.

Good knowledge and experience of partnership management, donor coordination and relationship management with government stakeholders

Ability to work in a complex environment requiring liaison and collaboration with multiple stakeholders

In-depth knowledge and first-hand experience of project design and management including financial management, contract management and donor management

Good influencing and advocacy skills about women’s and girls’ equal rights, discriminatory policies and practices resulting in their exclusion

At least 3-5 years of working experience and fluency in English, Urdu and Sindhi language
