Background & Description

The position holder will manage and coordinate the implementation of Oxfam’s European instrument for democracy and human rights (EIDHR): “Women Leadership in Public Life in Sindh” project improving their access to justice by increasing legal awareness and education of women about their legal rights and justice system, complaint and redress mechanism. Moreover, the incumbent will ensure that all project stakeholders including community, Women Development Department (WDD), police, local government, SCSW and other justice providers, policy makers and parliamentarians participate and represent where required in the project cycle.


Requirements and Skills

Excellent understanding of Governance & Economic Justice, Women rights and access to justice issues.

Good knowledge and experience of partnership management, donor coordination and relationship management with government stakeholders

Ability to work in a complex environment requiring liaison and collaboration with multiple stakeholders

In-depth knowledge and first-hand experience of project design and management including financial management, contract management and donor management

Good influencing and advocacy skills about women’s and girls’ equal rights, discriminatory policies and practices resulting in their exclusion

Post-graduation degree in Rule of law, social sciences, development studies or relevant area with 5 years in development sector, especially around Rule of law, Access to justice and governance programming and also have skills to use PCM tool at every stage of PCM.
