Background & Description
  • Community Mobilization, assessing gender disaggregated community needs and orientation about the project in the field.
  • Community organization and committee formation (with signing of MOUs, TOPs).
  • Beneficiaries identification and verification for the different project components.
  • Beneficiaries training if required on specific components and for effective participation in the project.
  • Undertake village level planning exercises and able to identify community prioritized infrastructure requirements.
  • Close coordination with WASH Officer for site selection and with logistics for material supply the site.
  • Close coordination with beneficiaries for WASH, cash for work, provision of agricultural inputs of the project.
  • Maintains gender disaggregated beneficiary record and work tracking sheet with assistance from other staff.
  • Prepares weekly progress and Feedback reports and project reports etc.
  • Any task assigned by senior staff.
Requirements and Skills
  • MA/ MSc in Social Sciences with 2-3 year's relevant WASH experience. Must have IT and report writing skills.
  • Negotiation, Communication, interpersonal, IT, time and stress management.
