ALUMEED REHABILITATION ASSOCIATION (AURA) is a non-profit making NGO, registered with Social Welfare Directorate Sindh Registration # DSW (425)-K and PCP Islamabad Registration# PCP-2015-366. With its’ humble beginning from a two roomed rented Premises in PECHS Karachi, it is now offering its Specialized Services adopted from BOBATH Concept, from a custom built building in Gulistan e Jauhar Karachi. It’s a “First of its Kind facility in Pakistan” catering to the needs of underprivileged “DIFFERENTLY ABLE” Brain Injured Children and Adolescents suffering from CEREBRAL PALSY.
Team of Qualified & Dedicated Caregivers (Therapists, Special Educators & Auxiliary staff) are given ‘Hands On’ training and impart these Services under the Supervision of equally dedicated Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a trained and qualified Director Therapy. AURA Board Members offer to volunteer their Time & Effort to maintain the smooth running of AURA Centre and the Organization at large. This has been made possible due to the largesse of God fearing Philanthropists and Donors.

Mission
ALUMEED REHABILITATION ASSOCIATION (AURA), a non-profit making NGO was formed by her along with her husband Dr Major (Retd) Anwar Ahmed and other affected parents, Doctors, qualified Therapists (initially trained by Dr Ruby Abbasi in these techniques) and Social workers, in 1989. It was registered with the Directorate of Social Welfare, Province of Sindh Pakistan.
