All Women Advancement and Resource Development -AWARD

Established in 1994, AWARD (All Women Advancement and Resource Development) has been working in the development sector for 23 years. AWARD is one of the pioneer and women-led resource organizations that has been working in R/Sexual Health HIV/AIDS & STIs, Governance (Political and Civic Education), Income Generation, Human Rights (in general), Women's Rights (Particularly Violence against Women), Human Resource Development and Volunteerism.

In 2005, AWARD received UN Recognition Award on the 60th anniversary of United Nations for AWARD's work on rights of PLWHA (People Living with HIV/AID), violence against women and overall performance of the organization.

AWARD has extensive experience and insight in health sector and is working in R/Sexual Health, HIV/AIDS & STIs for the past 2 decades in whole KPK/FATA and FR. Since its establishment, AWARD has worked for the capacity building of over 150 NGOs/Organization in R/sexual Health HIV/AIDS and STIs. AWARD has in-house team of Core trainers at National level on Reproductive and Sexual Health, HIV/AIDS and STIs and has trained Youth as peer educators in counseling, approximately 240 High School teachers in many districts of KP, Community Based teachers totaling up to 150 under Dioceses throughout KP and Government Line Departments on reproductive health and family planning. AWARD has more than 450 registered PLHIV (People living with HIV/AID) in our Care, support and treatment Program. 50% of these registered PLHIVs are women, widows and orphans.
