Advocacy, Research, Training & Services (ARTS) Foundation is a not for profit and an indigenous civil society organization established on January 30, 2008 by a group of young motivated community development professionals, researchers, media persons, human rights activists and concerned citizens who were trying to contribute their time and skills to mainstream women, girls, youth and children. ARTS Foundation registered on November 13, 2008 under Societies Act XXI of 1860 with the Registrar Joint Stock Companies and Societies, Government of Sindh, Pakistan.
ARTS Foundation aims to mainstream marginalized and most vulnerable segments of the society in development process through creating, strengthening and supporting local community groups, organizations and networks to influence policies through advocacy, lobbying, networking and training to promote and protect fundamental rights to empower women, girls, youth and children.
ARTS Foundation in collaboration with Government, Philanthrotist, National and International donors has completed 22 projects of worth PKR 29.6 million (USD 281,905) in the last eight years while 02 projects of worth PKR 9.4 million (USD 89,610) are on-going. ARTS Foundation has mainly been working on capacity building, advocacy and awareness as a right base approach organization but partially been engaged in service delivery in emergencies and people in need to respond their civic needs.
ARTS Foundation has been/is in partnership with Action Aid Pakistan, Government of Pakistan (National Trust for Population Welfare – NATPOW), Government of Sindh (Sindh Education Foundation – SEF and Ministry of Youth Affairs), British Council, USAID (Citizens Voice Project – CVP), UNFPA, WHO, Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO), Taiwan Foundation for Democracy (TFD), Civil Society Support Program (CSSP), USAID (Small Grants and Ambassadors Program), Maypole Fund, SCOPE, Habib University Foundation, Associated Country Women of World (ACWW), Channan Development Association (CDA), Tear Fund, AlifAilaan and Global Giving.

Mission
ARTS Foundation mission is to enlarge social, economical, institutional, and individual development options for the benefit of women, girls, youth and children of rural and marginalized areas through creating, strengthening, and supporting social platforms.
Objective
To pick up women, girls, youth and children’s protection, participation and development issues to initiate advocacy, lobbying, and policy dialogue;
To build individual and institutional capacities of women, girls, youth and children through training and exposure in order to develop human and institutional resource at the grass roots;
To facilitate and mobilize women, girls, youth and children in developing sustainable socioeconomic capital formation systems for poverty alleviation, food security, promotion of basic health, hygiene, environment and education services;
To promote community based natural resource management and enhance capacity of women, girls, youth, children and local communities in disaster preparedness and risk reduction;
To join and work with other civil society organizations, institutes, academia, and media in struggle for basic human rights and empowerment of women, girls, youth and children.
