ASSOCIATION FOR WATER APPLIED EDUCATION & RENEWABLE ENERGY (AWARE) was formed in spring 2003 and registered under Societies Act 1860 # 4142 on February 12,2005.
The focus of the Organization is arid and semi-arid areas of Badin Tando Muhammad District Tharparkar and Umerkot. AWARE is ever cautious and keeps a hawkish eye over the all emerging issues, concerns, problems and difficulties. AWARE has vast idea to ease opportunities and find out the ways and means to develop the target area.

To be an endeavoring and an effective contributor to the establishment of a society, where people determine their choices in life and influence the direction of change.
Mission
To organize, aware, strengthen and empower the marginalized sectors of population to enabling them to influence social, political and economic policies and decision making to make possible to establish a society based on social justice, equity, equality and human dignity.
Objective
• To organize different sectors of population in order to involve the community in: identifying, understanding the community needs; identification, development, management and judicious use of natural resources particularly Renewable Energy resources; and development, management, improvement and maintenance of public facility(ies)
• To organize seminars, workshops, training courses, lecture programmes, walks, rallies, celebrations, demonstrations, trips etc. in order to raise socio-economic, socio-political awareness among all the segments of society.
