Introduction

Having dealt with the earthquake emergency in 2005, in 2010 and in 2011 Cesvi has taken action to help the Pakistani population hit by serious floods.

Cesvi continued its intervention in KPK, in Nowshera and Peshawar districts, in support of internally displaced persons fleeing the conflict in the tribal areas, providing access to water, to housing and health care facilities. It promotes cash for work activities for women (production of blankets for distribution to displaced persons) and for men (interventions of public utilities such as construction of drainage channels and waste collection). In 2015, in Sindh, he has completed a food security project in support of the victims of the drought, through the distribution of kits for breeding and for the production of small craft materials and tools. Finally, it started the first operation in FATA tribal areas with the construction of new housing for displaced people who, after years of conflict, are returning to their home lands.
