Community Action for Rural Development - CARD SINDH Verified listing

Community Action for Rural Development-CARD was established in 2009 as nonprofit, nonpolitical and nongovernmental organization and applied for registration to Government of Sindh according constitutional requirement for work as civil society organization legally and independently. After two years of best organizational performance in District Shikarpur and North Sindh CARD was awarded affiliation and registration on dated 22 August 2011 under the Society Act 1860 with registration number 1208 /PAR/ LRK/2016/01231. The organization was started in District Shikarpur, a district of Sindh and carried on its expedition of achievement in other districts, like Kashmor @Kandhkot and Jacobabad, Larkana, Qambar @ Shahdadkot and  Ghotki etc where, it worked happily with collaboration of other local and national organizations for wellbeing, sustain, be of assistance and betterment of people in these areas. The idea behind the establishment of CARD was to improve the living condition of common man who is living in vulnerability due to having no access to resources and opportunities. CARD works through long-term sustainable community development programs and immediate disaster relief assistance. From the beginning in 2014 CARD initiated their activities on self-help bases and local support. CARD increased the scope and geographical focus of the organization to other parts of Sindh and got the support from different organizations.. In order to more extend its services and activities for making social service endowment to promote or involved with overall integrated rural development but  major focus is to promote Health & Hygiene, Relief support activities, improve Education status to support the target of The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Poverty Alleviation, Rights protection, Water and Sanitation and Capacity Building, in remote areas of Sindh and facilitate the active participation of vulnerable groups, including women, children’s , youth and indigenous peoples of rural communities, in the expansion of local and national planning of rural development, taking into account national legislation and  development of the basic needs of life , It is work thoroughly have a rest on advocacy , awareness to communities  in inaccessible areas of Sindh Pakistan by providing professional expertise and sharing experiences with the personals in the different disciplines of the life
