CRDO-Pakistan (Community Research and Development Organization, Pakistan) is a multi-sectoral, non-governmental organization (non profitable/non-political/non-religious), established & registered in June 2007 under Social Welfare Ordinance 1961 (XLVI 1961) and in December 2009 under the Societies Act, XXI 1860. The core focus of CRDO is to develop a synergy of highly qualified and motivated professionals towards translating the miseries of marginalized and vulnerable communities into prosperity and improved living standards. In its programs, CRDO strives to incorporate cross-cutting themes of gender equity, governance, and sustainability.
Vision
CRDO envisions a just society, where every individual has a minimum living standard with access to food, shelter, health, education, justice and to lead a life of dignity and honour without discrimination on the basis of creed, race, ethnicity, language, gender and nationality.
Mission
To promote effective partnership among all stakeholders including organizations, individuals, communities through dialogues, exchange of views, resource & experience-sharing to build common perspective for eradication of poverty and human sufferings. To achieve this, CRDO incorporates robust research components into its interventions for evidence-based decision making in identifying best practices and effective program implementation.
