The inspiration behind the establishment of CHEF International (non-government entity) is to provide quality health care and educational opportunities to the underprivileged population of the country including persons with disabilities. To reach towards the marginalized segment of the society especially person with disabilities is one of the prime objectives of CHEF International.

The philosophy is to campaign and advocate for their needs and rights, formulate structure and policies, and mobilize the available resources, to improve the quality of life. The organization has been involved in promoting mainstreaming disability through its development initiatives.CHEF International as an organization started from a single disability focusing on visual impairment and subsequently increased its capacity to address the challenges of cross disabilities in its area of mandate (Health and Education). CHEF International is advocating of twin-track approach for the promotion of inclusive development in its initiatives. Therefore, the range of model projects and programs in cross-disability are developed to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities and promote international developments and commitments towards the inclusive society for persons with disabilities.
To facilitate access to quality, affordable, and sustainable comprehensive health and education for
all; including rehabilitation of persons with disabilities to attain an inclusive society through collaboration
and partnerships.
