Background
  • Terms of Reference of Content Developer for Train-the-micro organizations on execution of community based projects with refugees and host communities

    Introduction:

    The School of Leadership Foundation (SoLF) is looking for engaging content developers who shall be responsible for devising and designing content for the training of participants composed of representatives from local micro youth and or women  organizations working with refugees and host communities in their respective districts from all across Pakistan.

    This would be a part of a key deliverable of the project, ‘The Learning Network’, which SoLF is launching in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Pakistan.

    Thematic areas of the Content Development:

    The content developers coming aboard shall be responsible for devising content development focusing on the themes such as: Adolescent and Youth Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (AY-SRHR); Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) or other Sexually Transmitted Infections (SITs); Gender-based Violence (GBV); Life-Skills Based Education (LSBE); mental health and climate change resilience for awareness-raising and capacity-building of our targeted audience i.e. our participant community organizations. The content development would also include the strategy development for planning and execution of a project in targeted communities along with guidelines of grant management and utilizing the grant.

    Key Performance Indicators of the content developers coming aboard :

    • The content developers should have proven expertise; hands-on experience and in-depth insight into content requirements for activity-based training and capacity-building sessions.
    • The expertise and specialist knowledge imparted to the participating organizations (target audience) shall be instrumental in not just serving the purpose of knowledge-exchange or awareness-raising on the aforementioned thematic areas, but also guiding them to plan and execute their own Social Action Projects (SAPs) in their communities to keep at their legacy of change-making interventions from the seed-grants. Therefore, these factors must be prioritized in consideration for content development.
    • The content designed shall develop content for 12 youth and or women-led organizations with consideration for diversity factors such as, diversity in terms of origins of participants from different provinces, language, outreach style; sensitivities of engaging distinct populations and content relevance for the thematic areas outlined above.
    • Creation of a clear methodology and meeting of schedule and timeline requirements for content creation must also be followed.
Requirements
    • Bachelors or 16 years of education in any social science discipline or any equivalent relevant academic background.
    • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in content development on aforementioned topics.
    • Flair and clarity in content along with research and critical thinking incorporation.
    • The content has to be extremely relevant to the aforementioned topics and must be engaging.
