Council for Research and Development

Council for Research and Development (CRD) is a non-political social organization, which is established with objective to strengthen the existing systems in public and private sectors as well as to initiate innovative activities for improvement of the status of population. Independent, non- partisan, indigenous professionals and experts with a very rich background of technical experience in various fields of social sciences manage the Council. The mission of CRD is to serve the people by applying the best practices that can generate outstanding results.

CRD possesses immense potential to provide technical assistance to nationwide network of public sector, research institutions, non-governmental organizations (National and International) and private sector entities for improving life style of the people with focus on marginalized Community.

Its strength is a group of professionals who have worked extensively in the fields of health, education, water & sanitation, environment, livestock management, gender equality, information systems, logistic management, disaster risk management, entrepreneurship, women empowerment, community mobilization etc.

CRD aims to channel its strength into initiatives for community welfare and capacity building of civil society. It also provides support for event management, providing administrative, managerial and supervisory support to enhance the strength of organizations already working in the field.

CRD similarly has potential to work on humanitarian interventions as well as capacity building programs
