Introduction
Creative Community Development Program (CCDP) is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political organization established in 2009, registered with the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance 1961 having registration number DSW/Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/3894. CCDP provides humanitarian support and strives to uplift the socio-economic conditions of the communities through technical facilitation and quality service delivery.
It is a technical, facilitating and organizational support institution, providing services to the community through legitimate community-based forums. The organization aims to empower underprivileged communities and louder their voices to reach policymakers. Equal opportunities and focus on a vulnerable group of population i.e. women, children, elderly and persons with disabilities are the cross-cutting themes of CCDP and always ensure inclusion in its projects.
CCDP supports the government in strengthening the institutions/departments to improve service delivery and bring a positive social change through community-driven approaches.
CCDP has four-tiered organizational structure i.e. Development experts at the leadership and governance level, sector specialists at the management level, qualified and experienced staff at the implementation while community stakeholders, internees/volunteers at the grass-root level to include the voice and choice of the communities in project interventions.
CCDP is determined to offer innovative but culturally acceptable solutions for social problems and serve the people without all kinds of discrimination on the basis of political, ethnic, religious or any other. Education, Health, Energy WASH, Child Protection, Children's Nutrition, Livelihood and Agriculture, Infrastructure, Community Mobilization, advocacy and Emergency Response are the focus of our interventions. Women, children, people with disabilities and elderly persons are the groups of our priority to be served first.
Mission:
CCDP endeavours to create an enabling environment for disadvantaged and vulnerable communities through participatory approach in collaboration with government, humanitarian and development actors.
Vision:
CCDP envisions a sustainable model of poverty alleviation to establish a prosperous society and bring positive social change through participatory approach for sustainable means of livelihood in its program area.
Organizational Objectives
To contribute towards poverty reduction by supporting local communities in harnessing their potentials and capabilities by organizing themselves at the village level into self-managed, self-reliant & sustainable institutions, CCDP has the following objectives.
Governing Body
Board of Directors consists of 7 members including the Chairman and 2 executive body members. This is the highest decision making body of the organization to make the policies, take decisions and governing the affairs of the CCDP. All members of the board have expertise in the developmental sector with analytical vision due to their national and international exposure.
