Introduction

Khyberpakhtunkhwa a poor province but well resourced province of Pakistan the development process from independence up to now is very low in this province due to different reasons. The most serious is the lack of education, awareness about health and women rights is very low in this province. Women negligence in development process is cause of backwardness because the province is in the control of rigid religious setup. because conservative mind set of the area is so strong that it can foil any development intervention which result rigid societal norms and ultimate backwardness of people and area. divergence community habitation and multi. lingual cultural characteristics etc are the factors which impede development of the area. Population of the area mostly consists of typical paten from remote areas who are not in favors of change and development especially participation of women in development activities are often discouraged in the area. In this grim circumstances women participation in decision making at community and house hold level are not encouraged by the society. Even women education is not look with honor and dignity
