Education, Awareness & Community Development Organization - EACD

The Education Awareness & Community Development Organization (EACD) was conceived by a group of dedicated experts from various fields in 2015. After gathering valuable input from each other, the team officially established EACD in 2016. However, before undergoing the formal registration process, they decided to enrich their ideas by engaging in humanitarian services. Our organization is driven by a commitment to providing high-quality services that help communities and organizations achieve their goals.

During our work in the field, we witnessed the pressing needs of marginalized women, underprivileged children, and disadvantaged men in rural areas of Punjab. Drawing from these experiences, EACD was registered in 2017 under the Societies Registration Act, XXI Of 1860.

EACD is a non-governmental, apolitical organization that operates on a not-for-profit basis. Our primary objective is to enhance the quality of life for the rural and urban populations in Punjab, with a particular focus on women, children, and minority groups. Serving as a catalyst for sustainable development, EACD mobilizes the self-help potential of rural communities. We empower these communities to plan and execute their own development initiatives, such as improving the education system, enhancing health and hygiene practices, and ensuring access to clean drinking water.

Through our rural development programs, EACD aims to mobilize communities and empower them to achieve better education, health and hygiene, and access to clean drinking water. This will be accomplished through effective natural resource management, the development of physical infrastructure, and the enhancement of human resources.
