At present, CDF is working with Free & Fair Election Network (FAFEN) and TDEA on Electoral Quality and Inclusiveness in Pakistan (EQuIP) Project as a Network Management Organization. The Project aim is to Develop network for deeper support to civil society organizations (community/village based) to develop institutions, strengthen systems and improve quality of program delivery and Develop & consolidate civil society coordination and support mechanisms with a view to evolving shared positions via laws, regulations and administrative measures to regulate the working of non-governmental sector. In this project initially, CDF will form a Regional Level Network in north Sindh comprises of 10 Organizations
Increased voter participation, especially among women and marginalized groups
Enhanced participation of women and marginalized citizens as candidates
Improved elections through non-partisan election observation and advocacy
Improving voter education to enhance turnout in targeted communities
Amplifying voice for increased voter registration at regional level
Capacitating women to contest LG elections
Capacitating women to contest GE-2023 elections
Expanding FAFEN’s Network to tehsil level to enhance its observation outreach for LG and GE
Strengthening citizens’ oversight on local-level politics and governance and pre-election environment
Building capacity of stakeholders particularly media and civil society for effective and informed role during elections
