Human Organization for Peaceful Environment - HOPE

HUMAN organization for peaceful environment (HOPE) is a non-profit, non-political, non-government development organization. It is established to bring change in the quality of life of vulnerable communities particularly minorities, women and children. HOPE was established as an independent NGO in 2^nd October 2003 and it is registered under the social welfare act of 1961. HOPE main goal is to eradicate poverty in the rural areas of Baluchistan province by providing basic needs to marginalized community and empower them through providing skills trainings, creativity and utilized their available potential resources through social mobilization and trainings. Moreover, Hope particularly focuses on women empowerment within the rural areas communities to bring gender equality for sustainable development.

HOPE has strong geographical coverage in different districts of Baluchistan such as Quetta, Sibi, Jafarabad, naseerabad, washuk, Panjgar, Dalbanden, Kech, Loralai, Pishin, Nushki, Musakhel, Killasaifullah, killaAbdullah, Ziarat, Kalat, kharan, Khuzdar, Mastung, Awaran and chaghi districts. Hope provided humanitarian assistance of various floods, earth quake and drought affected areas in Baluchistan during disasters and emergencies.

HOPE since, its inceptions struggling for the promotion of quality education, health & hygiene, human resource development and empowerment of communities through participatory approach. Hope wants to engage people at grass root level through prop up and protect their basic rights through individual and groups to act together in endurable, awareness and unified way.

Moreover, HOPE has implemented different projects successfully on the following thematic areas: Eduaction, Environment, Health, Child Rights& Protection, Community development, culture &heritage, Peace and Justice, Economic and Social empowerment of vulnerable communities.

Further, HOPE wants to contribute for sustainable natural resource management and livelihood security through awareness raising campaign, advocacy, awareness and promotion of appropriate technology.
