Introduction
Initiative for Development & Empowerment Axis (IDEA) is a non-profit organization committed to aiding underprivileged communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; which suffered a lot from War on Terror and flood in 2010 has made the people more vulnerable, hence reduced their strengths to mitigate the risks from different disasters.
IDEA is registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration & Control) Ordinance 1961; in 2003, having registration # 2172. Apart from this IDEA is also registered with FATA Secretariat Directorate of Social Welfare Registration # 159, and with Ministry of SAFRON for providing assistance to refugees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.
