Introduction

Initiative for Peace and Development (IPAD) is an independent, non-partisan and non-profit and non-governmental organization working in Pakistan on the issues associated with peace and development. It is established in 2015 under Trust Act of 1882 with an approach to focus on the issues of peace and development and will see no bounds by working all over Pakistan.

IPAD has implemented various projects in line with the government priorities and follow Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Community awareness campaigns run on choking financing for terrorists and terrorist organizations in Southern Punjab. Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage (MoIB) and Pakistan. Telecommunication Authority (PTA) have attended conferences and sessions organized by IPAD. IPAD believes in sustainable development through involvement of all stakeholders. Each stakeholder needs to do their part i.e. Government, local community, CSOs.

Mission
IPAD mission is to enhance mobilization, promote peaceful and comprehensive societies for sustainable development through impartial quality education and capacity building, and to provide access to learning and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.

Empowering women to support themselves.
Support health interventions and promote well-being for all.
Increase livelihood opportunities through skills building for youths at risk.
Advocate for legal and civil society structures necessary for peace development process.
Ensure availability of clean drinking water and sustainable management of water sanitation.
Take immediate actions to combat climate change and its impacts.
