Introduction

Integrated Rural Awareness & Development Organization (IRADO) is a non-governmental rights based and humanitarian organization established in October 2009, registered under Societies Act 1860 of Pakistan with the aim to strive for reinforcing socio-economic status of deprived communities of Sindh.

IRADO assists communities to achieve socio-economic status and improve life of marginalized families through integrated development approach, community mobilization, advocacy, campaigning, capacity building, coordination & networking and enhance their capacities to improve their life standards.

IRADO has lately emerged as one of the most commendable organizations that has been shouldering the responsibilities to be voice of poor of poorest, specially focusing on women empowerment and a girl child that is no less than a mercy upon human being but somehow their rights are violated under the cruel feet of influential or man dominant society that leads them to early and forced marriage, feeble and most vulnerable taking them out in decision making and bring economic constrain. IRADO stands firm to eliminate that curse of early marriages on its wings. IRADO prime thematic area also highlights the women issues and their development in all stages and walks of life. Since women and a girl child remain target to be victimized IRADO steps forward to wrestling with social issues by involving the like-minded organization to work.

IRADO keeps women groups intact with its approach for their empowerment

IRADO contribute to processes of organizational change or the institutionalization of gender perspectives in by supporting women to act as facilitators of change by: Supporting women through (a) confidence building, (b) leadership and communication training, (c) sponsorship to participate in organized events, and (d) promotion of research, activities and best practices oriented toward rural women

Advocating for causes related to gender equality and advocacy at local, national, regional and international levels
