Kashmir Relief Development Foundation (KRDF) is a not for profit Non-Governmental Organization. KRDF is working since occurrence of the devastating earthquake that struck Azad Jammu & Kashmir and northern areas of Pakistan on October 8, 2005. KRDF was established on the very first night of the deadly earthquake amid cries of the victims of the tragedy. A group of five people, feeling the pain of suffering victims immediately donated PKR1.5 million from their own packets to respond to the needs of the afflicted souls. However, it was legally registered in 2011. Since then KRDF, with an aim of community development, is holistically engaged in KPK and Azad Jammu Kashmir regions irrespective of any discrimination of race, caste, religion, culture and social status.
KRDF is committed in building the capacities of rural communities,
KRDF envisions for a prosperous society where every member has a dignified life, having the basic facilities of life and has easy and equitable access to the resources as well as achievement of striving and utilization of all energy and resources of the area.
