The Legends Society is an independent non-profit, non-government, self-serving and civil society organization. It was established in 1990 at Quetta by a group of highly committed and volunteer activists from different development fields but was registered with Government of Balochistan in 2000. The members form a closely knitted team which is self-motivated and has a long history of working together with multidisciplinary work experience. It has started its initial work in Balochistan but is not limited to any specific geographical area in Pakistan.
It aims at poverty eradication through sustainable equitable Rural and Urban Development and good governance. The Legends Society believes that sustainable development is only possible through a systems approach that aims at improved quality of life increased food security, strengthening the leadership of grass root group and individuals seeking local solution to local problems, facilitate effective women involvement. Promote good governance and visionary approach at different levels.
