Nahar King Welfare Organization (NKWO)

Founded in Jan 2008, Nahar King Welfare Organization (NKWO) is a non-profit welfare organization conceived under the name of Tahir Khan Nahar King (Lodhi) of 1219 South Punjab who has been acclaimed one of the best social and democratic rural in the human history.  The primary objectives of include isto bring about policy and institutional changes by mobilizing and empowering deprived and marginalized communities. Further, NKWO aims to create an environment in which communities at the local level are able to transform their individual and collective lives through the equitable and sustainable use of resources through an integrated approach. Whereas NKWO is local NGO and Registered from Govt of Punjab Act-1961.

Since its inception, NKWO is playing leading role; in human rights, poverty alleviation, Health, Special Person, Education facilities, water & sanitation, Children, Youth and, women rights especially in southern Punjab. NKWO caters for the needs, norms and unique cultural aspects and works independently as well as with the collaboration of many Local NGOs through a network known as South Punjab NGOs Forum (the “SPNF”) of south Punjab. SPNF is a collective representative forum of the civil society organizations in South Punjab. Currently, we are launching a campaign to promote District. Muzaffargarh, Punjab and all Pakistan as a Model, we are also facilitating district level networks of Citizen Community Board (CCBs) to improve governance in seven (7) CCBs of Muzaffargarh District. NKWO  playing the role for change mind to the Youth / Labour / Formers in South Punjab as per new age in following sectors, Leadership, Peace and Conflict Management, Life Skill and change to the Youth for fundamental democracy Human Rights and their life style.

Our Mission is to empower the neglected segments of the society and eradicate the socio-economic problems of the needy people stronger the deprived sections of communities through participatory programs of social, economic and political maturity in order to realize a vigorous, democratic, calm and flourishing society.

Climate Change, Environment, Agriculture, Conservation of Birds and Forest, Vocational, Surveyed /Research Skill for Job, Health, Clean Drinking Water and Education, Women development, to improve quality of Health Facilities and overall Public Health and develop qualitative educational facilities for general masses, Orphan Children Rights, and disabled person through independent projects as well in Collaboration with other successful models throughout the province of the Punjab
