National Development and Management Council -NDMC

National Development & Management Council (NDMC) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profitable public welfare voluntary organization exclusively focusing on the development of Pakistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, GB and FATA.

It was established and working from February 2003 at grass root level having close relation with the communities and formally registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961 (XLVI of 1961) in 11th December 2006.

NDMC’s goal is to address Capacity Building, Traninings, Agriculture, Children, Art, Culture, Drug Abuse, Education, Environment, Food Production, Basic Health, Human Rights, Infrastructure Development, Poverty Alleviation, Rural Development, Women and Youth, Transgender, Infrastructure, Sanitation and similar other community-related needs as well as income generation opportunities. The development work in the rural areas is carried out with the help of community organizations.

Objective
Undertake efforts and struggle for social development in the country through various activities and programs.
To promote environmental awareness.
To provide alternate income-generating possibilities, especially for women.
To undertake systematic research for designing and implementing projects to achieve the goals set forth in the International Convention on Rights of the Children.
To promote efficient use of water for agriculture, livestock, people, and industry.
To provide technical and consultancy services to government / non-government organizations, institutions, agencies and departments at all levels.
To promote social development activities through discussions, seminars, conferences, debates and round table dialogues.
To build capacities of development partners through establishing effective reporting mechanism for development projects.
Networking of development partners working at grass-root levels and developing linkages between sponsor and the implementers of development activities.
To improve health and education facilities in rural areas.
To develop & execute minorities’ role in the society, ensure minorities participation in the public sector.
To spread IT education in the country.
To conduct surveys and studies for providing basis for evidence-lead planning of development programs at national level.
To protect the cultural heritage, promote the Art and Artists of Pakistan.
To promote the educational, social and cultural interests of the youth in Pakistan and Abroad.
To manage regional & national level events like conferences, seminars, workshops & festivals.
