Introduction

PCHF is a not-for-profit company, registered with the Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan, as a Section 42 Company. It was established in 2011. PCHF provides fully funded and/or subsidized surgeries through partnerships to impoverished children born with congenital heart defects in Pakistan. PCHF’S value proposition is as follows:

  • Financing surgical interventions (project Mohsin)
  • Awareness and advocacy on congenital heart defects (CHDs)
  • Capacity building (project Danial) and
  • Children’s Heart Hospital and Research Institute.

PCHF has conducted 2036 surgeries till April 2020. At $4.4 million and with a 4.62% mortality rate. (Comparable to International Standards of Excellence)
