PCHF is a not-for-profit company, registered with the Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan, as a Section 42 Company. It was established in 2011. PCHF provides fully funded and/or subsidized surgeries through partnerships to impoverished children born with congenital heart defects in Pakistan. PCHF’S value proposition is as follows:
Financing surgical interventions (project Mohsin)
Awareness and advocacy on congenital heart defects (CHDs)
Capacity building (project Danial) and
Children’s Heart Hospital and Research Institute.
PCHF has conducted 2036 surgeries till April 2020. At $4.4 million and with a 4.62% mortality rate. (Comparable to International Standards of Excellence)
