Background
  • Junior Jinnah Trust is a non-profit organization founded with one Orphanage in 2014, with the aim to provide quality education for the underserved population of the society: orphans, child labor, street children, underprivileged and most deserving children in Pakistan.

    JJT needs the services of a Program Officer (Male). He will be responsible for:

    v  Preparing MOM for Visits/ Meetings

    v  Preparing & Sharing Weekly Reports to Media team, and preparing monthly newsletter.

    v  Compilation of documents and maintaining all files of expenses/ policies alike

    v  Door to door visit for case stories and verifications as per need

    v  Regular visits to project sites and reporting accordingly

    v  Support SMCD in event arrangements and procurements/ printings related to JJT

    v  Arrangements of donor/ potential person visits in the absence of SMCD

    v  Building strong relations with local community members & establishing local volunteer teams

    v  Sharing any fundings opportunities/ especially regarding potential persons for education sponsorships

    v  Maintaining all records of direct/ in-direct beneficiaries and alike.

    v  Support SMCD in donor engagements/ meeting arrangements

    v  Alliances & partnership development, and legal works related to organization.

    v  Support and manage Ambassador membership program, which engaging them to organizational activities

    v  Assist the management in developing business plans to generate income from various sources

     

Requirements
  •  

    Qualifications:

    v  16 years education or BS Hons./Masters Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Economics or related field preferred.

    Experience:

    v  02+ years experience in,  educational projects/ programs would be a plus.

    v  Having Educational/ OOSC/ NFBE  projects or program experience would be a plus.

    v  Demonstrable ability to develop relationships with funders, partners

    v  Proven record of successful project implementations and reporting

    v  Proven experience is managing budgets and OPEX/CAPEX budgets preparations of educational projects

    v  Excellent written skills with the ability to produce concise and creative reports/ concept notes.

    v  Excellent communication and presentation skills required to build relationships with potential donors.

    v  Ability and willingness to travel for work

    v  Demonstrable knowledge of charity in general and with a development focus in particular

    v  Must have Computer soft skills and MS Office experience
