Regional Development Organization -RDO

Regional Development Organization (RDO) is a non-profit and non-Government Organization founded in 2008. RDO is registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 bearing Registration No. 3565/5/6413 and Government of Pakistan State & Frontier Region Division Saffron.RDO is a multi-sector non-government organization .It has a vast working experience in Community Development, Social Mobilization, Capacity Building, Education, Health, Nutrition, WASH, Shelter, DRR, Emergency Operation and Relief.RDO is an organization of development professionals with established offices in Peshawar, Islamabad and FATA. The philosophy behind RDO success and strength is its spirit of team work and professionalism. RDO builds the capacity of local organizations and bridges the gaps between government and communities for sustainable development.  RDO has Four Tiered Structure i.e. Development Experts at the Leadership Level, Sector Specialist at the Management Level, qualified and experience staff at the Implementation Level, and internees/volunteers at the grass root level.RDO concentrates on the socio-economic uplift of the local communities and strengthening institutional capacity of related organizations.

RDO endeavours to work with Local Communities, Government Departments and other Development Agencies to serve, assist and support individuals and families to live a decent life.

Objective
To improve mother & child health and nutrition status through community based interventions, awareness raising campaigns and community mobilization.
To increase literacy rate and ensure quality education with special focus on Primary and Girls Education.
To capacitate women with skills and knowledge and empower them to address their needs
To provide a uniform platform for probing, advocating and resolving social issues
To reduce poverty through livelihood enhancement, Vocational & skilled trainings, and income generation activities
To assist vulnerable communities through humanitarian relief and rehabilitation operation in emergencies.
To aware and capacitate communities/Organizations through collective efforts for their socio-economic uplift
