Rural Infrastructure & Human Resource Development Organization-RIHRDO

Non-Governmental and Non-profit Organization Established in 2004 with the Aim of Community Development Across Pakistan in General and KPK and FATA Regions in Particular without any Discrimination of race, caste, religion, culture and social status of residents among society. RIHRDO is also registered under FATA Secretariat Directorate of social welfare. It is registered in 31st January 2013.

The Organization Started its activities from Gandi khan khel District Lakki Marwat from its own limited Resources. In the start we get the Route of Awareness Programs. Various types of Educational Programs were Started. Resource Person was trained Successfully. Later on, the Organization was registered with social welfare Department under voluntary social welfare (registration & Control) ordinance 1961.

RIHRDO at Present Striving to Address the Problems of Marginalized Communities of FATA and KPK Region by involving them into Productive Activities and Programs to Alleviate Poverty and Enhance Economic Growth.

RIHRDO has strong geographical presence in District Lakki Marwat. Since its start, RIHRDO is implementing Different Projects in District Lakki Marwat. For the time being, RIHRDO expanded activities in Different District of KPK and Fata region. RIHRDO implemented Different Projects in District Tank, Peshawar, D I Khan as well as in South Wazirstan Agency, Bajour Agency.

RIHRDO implemented most of Projects on the following theme: Education, Health wash and Sanitation, Women Empowerment. For the time being, the Organization initiated some Projects by getting funds from Social Welfare Department as well as some other donors. In 2012, the organization implemented project by the partnership with commissioner afghan refugees Khyber pukhtun khwa and received funds from RAHA.

Vision
RIHRDO Envision for a Prosperous Society where every member has a dignified life, having the basic facilities of life and has easy and equitable access to the resources as well as achievement of Striving and utilization of all energy and resources of the area.

Mission
To improve the quality of living standard of the deprived, vulnerable and marginalized communities, women and children in particular, through the interventions in education, health, community physical infrastructure, skill development, capacity building, public health on sustainable basis.

Objective
To increase and improve basic quality education, public health and community infrastructure facilities in the society.
To create an enabling environment eradicating absolute poverty and deprivation leading towards human development.
To undertake development initiatives for promoting gender equality and protection of the rights of women.
To establish and foster a network of community-based organizations for better planning, management and utilization of resources.
