Social Welfare and Community Development Society was established in 1998, and has been working in Burewala since then. Please have a look at its project to know what it currently is doing.

Mission
To initiate a development process with local communities, partners, and other stakeholders, while promoting collaborative efforts to create enabling and conductive environment where marginalized and discriminated communities are able to bring a long lasting change in their lives.

Objective
To work for the development of education and health sectors in collaboration with community and line departments mainly focusing on infrastructure improvement, staff capacity building and community mobilization
To work for the development of agriculture & farmers
To provide awareness and work for democratic good governance
To organize awareness activities for community mobilization and advocacy on different human and social issues
Women development through empowerment and capacity enhancement
To work for public infrastructure development and environment protection
