Sojhla is working for empowerment and confident demonstration of local culture inherited by respective folk and land. Sojhla wants to promote local wisdom of the saints and mystics who led their lives for the sole origin of cementing friendly relations between humankind irrespective of caste, creed, faith and dogma.

To assure awareness about physical, social and political movement in order to induce meaningful change in the community
To raise the income level of the groups through involvement in agricultural, livestock and home based skill development.
To network with all likeminded groups committed to the cause of empowerment of the poor to promote institutional mechanisms at community level to ensure sustainability and scaling up of its gains
Empowerment of women through formation of self-help groups and its networking, empower rural women of Southern Punjab family by raising awareness among them about their rights, entitlement, access and control over their entitlement
Translating the native philosophy of non-violence and universal equality of human beings into political actions
