Strategy to Empower People Organization-STEP

Strategy to Empower People (STEP) was founded in 1974 as a non-government and non-for profit, Rights Based, Voluntary Organization with special focus on protection of human rights and development of the extremely vulnerable and deprived communities. The organization was registered under Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Act 1961 with Social Welfare Department December 1974.

To promote an inclusive & accessible society of claim, social, economical and political rights regardless of gender and ethnic discrimination.

Mission
Our mission to the Empowerment of people through awareness, access to health, education, livelihood, policy advocacy, social mobilization, capacity building, improved governance and service delivery in protection of human rights, disaster management and rehabilitation, climate change mitigation and environmental management, livelihoods and food security and WASH services and enhancing the life standard in qualitative and quantitative terms.
