Introduction
Taraqee Foundation (TF) is a Balochistan based Pakistani NGO working for the poverty alleviation and social development for the past twenty-three years. TF got its legitimate status in 1994 by registering with the Government of Balochistan under the Society’s Act 1861. Later it chose to register under companies’ ordinance of 1984 for better regulation and high standards of operations, accountability and transparency. TF is certified by Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP) for its Quality Standards of Operations.
