BACKGROUND

Thespianz Foundation/Theatre is working to improve the lives of the most underserved populations in rural Pakistan through socially-conscious performing arts.

Founded in 2010 as a not-for-profit organization in Karachi, Pakistan Thespianz Foundation features a strong community of performers, writers, directors, and creative heads that utilize social theater, string puppetry, workshops, training, and lectures to reach out to marginalized communities throughout Pakistan. These performing arts create powerful tools to convey topics of awareness about social justice, human rights, women’s and children’s rights, disability rights, peace and tolerance, and anti-drug campaigns. Thespianz is changing the narrative for those living in rural Pakistan by empowering them with an increased understanding of their world.

Increase social acceptance and create a healthy environment among all people of Pakistan.

To alert the whole world to social problems via performing arts, education, and health by developing its infrastructures with state of the art facilities.
