Introduction

The Village Development Organization (VDO) is nonprofit, non-political, non- government and gender balance oriented organization. It is registered under Societies Act 1860. VDO is based at Ghotki & working in north Sindh on different projects and campaigns. It was established in year 1993 as a non-government organization (NGO) and it works for the development and empowerment of the most vulnerable and marginalized groups of man, women & child. VDO is currently working in Sindh Province of Pakistan. It has successfully implemented about 27 projects in Sindh province since its inception. VDO is supporting its target groups in the areas of education, gender, livelihood, social mobilization, skills trainings, health, emergency response, water & sanitation and physical infrastructure development.
