The British High Commission in Pakistan is currently seeking proposals for its FCO's Human Rights Fund 2018/19 to support the fulfillment of Pakistan’s international human rights treaty obligations.
The British High Commission invites potential implementing partners to submit concept notes for projects that support one or more of the following human rights objectives:
Projects could be targeted at the individual, community or institutional level, but need to demonstrate how they will contribute to a macro-level change, including possibly helping to influence the political debate that surrounds each issue to build the political will to take greater action to combat the problems.
Indicator: Means of verification
Strategic fit: Description of how the project will address Human Rights Fund 2018/19 strategic priorities
Potential for change and impact: Clear description of goals and outcomes that are measurable, with a description of how they will be measured
Evidence of realism: Assessment of how goals and outcomes will be achieved, with the right level of ambition
Evidence of sound methodology: Reflection of sound knowledge and expertise of the field, and research conducted about the target audience
Sustainability: Description of how efforts will be continued beyond funding
