Description

VSO Pakistan is currently in the process of finalizing its Inclusive Education Programme Strategy in Pakistan. With the vision of addressing critical barriers on access and quality education of all marginalized groups, the programme seeks to develop collaborative interventions with the Federal and Provincial Governments of Pakistan and related institutions for carrying out improvement work with teachers, school heads, schools, district bodies, local communities and multiple actors across above mentioned districts.

The initial stream of proposed activities focus on working with the School Education Department (SED), Government of Punjab through reactivation of School Councils across Multan and Rawalpindi, undertaking of multi-dimensional research and school-level engagements across 100 government schools and capacity-building of teachers and head teachers through evidence-based advocacy and training workshops.
