International Programme 2019/20 | PAK-NGOs

The purpose of the Programme is to support the fulfillment of Pakistan’s international human rights treaty obligations. The British High Commission invites potential implementing partners to submit proposals for projects that support one or more of the following human rights objectives:

  • reducing the scale and scope of the death penalty
  • strengthening freedom of religion or belief
  • strengthening freedom of media and expression
  • improving civic spaces and strengthening civil society
  • increasing accountability for practices amounting to cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment and torture

We are seeking proposals of between PKR 4,500,000 to PKR 7,000,000. Such projects could be targeted at the individual, community or institutional level, but need to demonstrate how they will contribute to a macro-level change, including possibly helping to influence the political debate that surrounds each issue.
