The purpose of the Programme is to support the fulfillment of Pakistan’s international human rights treaty obligations. The British High Commission invites potential implementing partners to submit proposals for projects that support one or more of the following human rights objectives:
We are seeking proposals of between PKR 4,500,000 to PKR 7,000,000. Such projects could be targeted at the individual, community or institutional level, but need to demonstrate how they will contribute to a macro-level change, including possibly helping to influence the political debate that surrounds each issue.
Modern slavery remains a priority but is being funded through the DFID South Asia Research Hub this year, and NOT through the International Programme
Stage 1: Implementers to submit proposal and activity based budget by 24th May, 1700hrs Pakistan Standard Time (PST)
Stage 2: The British High Commission will review proposals and may ask implementers for additional information/documents
Stage 3: Final bids chosen and project implementation started by August 2019
