“Penny Appeal is a non-profit organization, it has been helping widows, orphans, elderly, providing clean drinking water and quality educational facilities to the needy. We are calling proposals from interested NGOs & CSO which are involved in the construction/ rehabilitation of government schools”

Eligibility

Eligible Organizations:

    • An organization registered with Government of Pakistan as Not for profit and non-Government. Renewal of registration (if required) should be up to date.
    • The organization has an active board of directors/governors.
    • The organization has a history of activities/projects and community linkages in the district
  • The organization has previous proven experience of implementation of school construction and education projects with reputable Donor/Fund managing organizations.
  • The organization has at least three (3) years externally audited accounts.
  • Any employee, director/governor and/or other stakeholder or organization itself is not involved in any anti-state activity at any level.
  • The organization will ensure Allow to Work/NOC from concern Government Authorities regarding proposed project implementation.
  • Organizations having Penny Appeal employee in their governing board or any other association should declare it. Non-disclosure may lead to ineligibility.

Organization who cannot apply:

  • Individuals/unregistered groups/consultants/vendors cannot apply.
  • Business/for-profit organizations cannot apply.
  • Organizations involved in any anti-state activity cannot apply.
  • Organizations having political affiliation cannot apply.
  • Organization having religious affiliation cannot apply.
