Background
  • A reputable national-level non-governmental organization is seeking qualified, experienced, and highly motivated professionals for short-term contractual positions (4 months) under the Recovery and Rehabilitation Project – Livelihood and Civil Works Component. The organization provides equal employment opportunities to youth, men, women, and persons with disabilities.

    The Community Mobilizer is responsible for facilitating communities to become self-reliant in pursuing their collective interests, particularly in the areas of flood early recovery and rehabilitation.

    The primary role of the Community Mobilizer   is to enhance community awareness on WASH-related issues. The project focuses on relief and early recovery, including livelihood support and rehabilitation in flood-affected Union Councils. Field staff will work closely with communities to strengthen their capacity, support recovery efforts, and facilitate sustainable rehabilitation. Their role includes mobilizing community members, promoting inclusive participation, and assisting households in restoring their livelihoods and resilience through community-led and participatory approaches, as well as other participatory techniques.

    Key responsibilities include advocacy, information dissemination, education, and communication through various methods and tools, in close consultation with the Project Manager.

Requirements
  • B.A./B.Sc. or M.A./M.Sc. (preferably with a WASH Livelihoods) from a HEC recognized university. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization. Proficiency in MS Office is required.
